Most of these worries are directly linked to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, which was the number one concern among CEOs. By major region there are some common themes. In the US, labor shortages, rising inflation, and supply chain disruptions were the most disconcerting for CEOs.
In China, covid-19 related disruptions and recession woes topped the list. But rising inflation and global political stability were tied for third. European CEOs are also the most concerned about rising inflation, supply chain disruptions and recession risk.
